Cover: Around Leeds: a city centre reinvented Around Leeds: A City Centre Reinvented
Stillwell, J. and Unsworth, R. (2008)

This book has been designed with two primary aims in mind. Firstly, it guides the reader from Millennium Square on a circular anticlockwise tour of the city centre, providing illustrated commentary on buildings and places of historical and contemporary interest along the way. The complete route, for which there is a fold-out map at the back of the book, is divided into eight sections and there are corresponding chapters, each of which is associated with one or more themes relating to particular functions characteristic of that area. In addition, three further walking routes are suggested as 'next steps' beyond the city centre in the concluding chapter. Cover photo © www.webbaviation.co.uk
